I've come to a horrible personal realization.
I actually like Coldplay. I put on some Coldplay today and I liked it.
My dear friends, why did you all become mechanics and hairstylists and drug addicts instead of therapists? Thanks for nothing.
Also: In tandem with this Coldplay atom bomb, I may also be ending a 7 year period of indifference to Gwen Stefani with pure, unadulterated love and respect and envy, but that's a different post.

Sometimes people like Coldplay. Sometimes they like Bon Jovi. These anomalies are better left unexplained and unexplored.
